Bernie Schramm serves as Senior Vice President for Channel Strategy in the Enterprise Product Strategy organization at FIS. He is responsible for defining and driving the approach and direction of channel capabilities and technology across much of the FIS product set, responding to changing market priorities as well as advances in technology. He works closely with Marketing teams Globally to stay engaged directly with clients as well as with Product Development to ensure clear understanding of strategies early in planning and design.
Schramm joined FIS after 13 years at Bank of America, where he held various positions leading Applications Development, Architecture and Strategy teams. He has broad retail banking technology experience, having supported applications in the Branch, Contact Centers and back office, as well as across Consumer Lending. Prior to joining the bank, he was a founding partner at MD Technology, a consulting firm in Jacksonville, FL. This followed a number of application development and leadership roles at CSX Technology and IBM.
Schramm holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Duke University, where he double majored in Computer Science and Economics.
